Winnie Bonelli
Winnie Bonelli has worked in and chronicled the media and culinary communities for more than three decades. A regular contributor to Life & Style, In Touch, New Jersey Savvy Living, and Irish Connections, she has profiled many of today's top luminaries from Denzel Washington, and Angelina Jolie to The Rolling Stones and Bill Gates.
As a feature staff writer for the North Jersey Media Group, Winnie won several New Jersey Press Association awards for her insightful glimpses into the entertainments culinary and American lifestyle scenes. The North Jersey Media Group is parent to two daily newspapers, 10 weeklies, and five regional glossy publications. As an active member of the Television Critics Association, she considers Los Angeles her second home because of her frequent trips to participate in and write about the latest media trends and developments. In addition to planning and writing the weekly food section for the Herald News, a daily newspaper in metropolitan New Jersey, Winnie also coordinated the annual "Hotter Than Summer" Firemen's Chili Cook-Off, drawing entries from several northern New Jersey counties.
Acting as a public relations/good will ambassador for the newspaper, Winnie present regular food demonstrations at area shopping malls, and specialty sites like Barnes & Noble and Borders book stores. She also did guest spots on local radio shows.
Working freelance in public relations, her clients have included Feld Entertainment, the New York Jets, a State Senator, and the grassroots Smile Forever Foundation which is geared at aiding cancer victims and their families. In area of philanthropy, Winnie is a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and has traveled to Louisiana to assist with the Katrina effort and to Johannesburg, South African to work at the Lion Park. She attended both Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ and Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. Winnie currently resides in Northern Jersey.

Joe Kavanagh
Joe Kavanagh from Wicklow Town, has managed recently, among other things, to become a member of a rock and roll band. Having performed a number of high profile gigs supporting such Irish rock luminaries as Snow Patrol, The Frank and Walters and Pony Club, the band also opened for legendary Liverpool act The La's, for their first gig in over a decade. The band has also attracted an increasing number of supporters behind the scenes in the Irish music inductry, with their most vocal champions being 2FM's Dan Hegarty, Dave Flanning and Larry Goga, Today FM's Alison Curtis and the radio stations Red FM in Cork and Beat FM in Waterford.

Roger Wang
When it comes to shooting the stars in New York and further afield it is hard to compare with our photographer Rager Wang. Roger has been in the entertainment industry for many years and his work has graced the pages of Irish Connections since the birth of the magazine. The Manhattan native keeps an ear to the ground when it comes to celebrity appeorances in the Big Apple and is canstontly on the go at premiers and star-studded events. In this issue Roger presents his regular spread of shots of the world's most famous and beautiful people in our 'Premiers' feature.

Heidi Gross Kelley
Though Irish through association, Heidi enjoys the opportunity to "get the Irish word out" through Irish Connections. Before joining Irish Connections, Heidi was Art Director of The World of Hibernia as well as the designer for Irish Today. Heidi received her BFA in graphic design at the University of the Arts in 1988 and has since worked os a designer in both the corporate and publishing world. Heidi has won numerous awards for her editorial designs, including recently a bronze medal for the Natallie Coughlin cover of Irish Connections Magazine (Vol:5, No:4). Her future plans for the magazine include bringing home the gold! Heidi is married to Sean Kelley and has two children, John and Caitriona.
