The Westin Hotel

The Westin Dublin is comprised of three former financial buildings dating back to 1863. Now magnificently resorted to their former splendor, The Westin Dublin introduces a new level of luxury in Irish hospitality. The original facades and magnificent period detailing are an expression of timeless elegance. Enchanting colors, rich textures and soft furnishings create an atmosphere of sophistication and style. Opulent marble pillars and tall mahogany doorways add to the character of this elegant historical building and open fireplaces provide a warm welcome in the heart of the city. Situated in possibly the best location in Dublin, steps from Trinity College, the fashionable shops of Grafton Street and the business district of the International Financial Services Centre.

Each of the 163 bedrooms feature Westin's latest innovation, the much acclaimed Heavenly Bed, a fully stocked refreshment centre, tea/coffee making facilities, and hi-speed internet access through your TV. There are thirteen suites, of which the stunning split leQel College Suite, with its own living room, boardroom, private exercise room and Nordic steam room, overlooks the front arch of Trinity College and the famous Bank of Ireland portico at College Green.

The Exchange Restaurant: Displaying a fine sense of elegance, The Exchange at the Westin Dublin is one of the most engaging dining experiences in the city center. Enjoy a menu selection of stylish simplicity where the Chef will use the freshest of Irish ingredients to create a blend of local, regional and international dishes. The Exchange's profusion of natural light washes over innovative design features such as frosted glass, leather finishes and cool wooden floors.

The Mint Bar: One of Dublin's favorite meeting places, The Mint makes imaginative use of the bank's old vaults to create an intimate, welcoming atmosphere for both drinks and food. Whether stepping in from College Street or from the hotel lobby, the Mint impresses with its island bar, slate flooring and dark wood paneling. Serving the best martini in town, not to mention a great pint of Guinness, the Mint also offers traditional Irish lunches and a creative approach to bar food till late.

The Atrium Lounge: An inspirational haven, The Atrium (right) is a space that simply takes your breath away. Housed in the former bank building, the Atrium's magnificent glass roof lets you sit beneath clear skies by day and a canopy of stars at night. Elegance is the watchword here, with lush palm trees, marble floors and intricate ironwork setting the scene for an hour or two of easy relaxation. Here at The Anium you can enjoy gourmet sandwiches, morning coffee, afternoon tea or, for a touch of extra decadence, a glass or two of champagne.

The Banking Hall: The largest of the Eight Function Rooms seats over 160 people for dinner. The remaining seven meeting rooms have sophisticated conference technology and oversized windows for natural daylight.

With a modern fitness center and superior business facilities, expectations of consistent quality, exemplary personal service and outstanding amenities are well exceeded at The Westin Dublin.
